On this very cold day the Elementary DD classroom is preparing for the giant storm arriving tomorrow. Thankfully visitors from Ms. Leigh’s classroom came to help cook up some warm vegetable soup!

Last Friday we took a trip to Wegmans Grocery Store in Northborough where we did a scavenger hunt and then purchased lunch. Today we celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday 🎉!! Thing 1, Thing 2 and a Star Bellied Sneetch came to help.

Ms. Christie’s class at Caldwell Elementary showing off their self-made instruments from recycled materials this week!  This was part of a combined music & art group with Ms. April and Ms. Jessica.  The kids had a lot of fun making shakers, rainsticks, guitars and microphones from all kinds of recycled materials.

This month we have been learning about Vikings! Today we set set sail across the rough seas in our Long ships. We even remembered to make some Viking bread in case we got hungry on our long journey! ~ DD Elementary                   

Ms. Courtney and Ms. Leigh’s classes enjoyed a combined Valentine’s Day Party. They exchanged gifts, decorated cupcakes, enjoyed special snacks, and made a special craft.       Meanwhile in Ms. Kate’s room, these handsome guys are sending out some Valentine love!                   

The FLLAC ASD/DD program has scheduled their Spring Music & Art Extravaganza for Wednesday, April 12, 2017 @ 12:00 pm.  They will be performing at the Ayer Shirley High School Auditorium. Save the date… you will love every minute of it!
