April is Autism Awareness month! 

FLLAC students and staff at our elementary programs were feeling mighty lucky Friday! A very friendly leprechaun surprised us with a visit and although he did not give us his pot of gold he gave us some great pointers on how to trap a leprechaun for next year.  Wish us luck!  

Ms. Sarah’s class has been celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day all week with stories, crafts, Lucky Charm Rice Krispies, science experiments and best of all homemade Shamrock Shakes.

Students at Clinton Middle School worked on creating adapted games for individuals with physical disabilities. They came to visit Ms. Alissa’s class and show off their finished products. They had fun meeting new friends and playing some new games! 

When it’s the perfect snow for snowmen, but just way too cold to go outside, we bring the snow inside for a snowstorm of fun! ~ DD Elementary

Today we started our Read Across America Celebration. This is a nationwide celebration that takes place annually on March 2 – Dr. Seuss’s birthday. On Thursday, December 13th, our Caldwell Elementary School students and staff took an afternoon walk over to the Townsend Senior Center for the second year in a row to sing and play winter songs, Christmas carols and spread some holiday cheer!  Some students sang along while others rang bells and danced to holiday favorites like “Jingle … Continued
