This November, Mr. O’Dell’s high school class wrote a song in appreciation of our veterans. Each student contributed one line, and a copy of this song was printed and signed by all students and presented to several veterans as part of a gift for the Veterans Day assembly at the high school last Thursday. With Veterans Day behind us and Thanksgiving on the way, we want to continue to remember our veterans and express our ongoing thanks. As the song lyrics so aptly proclaim, “Dear Veterans, thank you for your service. We appreciate YOU!”
