This week, Mrs. Dorsey’s class studied the 4 layers inside our planet.  Next week, they will be baking earth pie!

Today we celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday 🎉!! Thing 1, Thing 2 and a Star Bellied Sneetch came to help.

Ms. Christie’s class at Caldwell Elementary showing off their self-made instruments from recycled materials this week!  This was part of a combined music & art group with Ms. April and Ms. Jessica.  The kids had a lot of fun making shakers, rainsticks, guitars and microphones from all kinds of recycled materials.

This month we have been learning about Vikings! Today we set set sail across the rough seas in our Long ships. We even remembered to make some Viking bread in case we got hungry on our long journey! ~ DD Elementary                   

Ms. Courtney and Ms. Leigh’s classes enjoyed a combined Valentine’s Day Party. They exchanged gifts, decorated cupcakes, enjoyed special snacks, and made a special craft.       Meanwhile in Ms. Kate’s room, these handsome guys are sending out some Valentine love!                   

Ms. Plouffe, our Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) led us in a group art activity this afternoon.  We had fun making valentine cards! In other news this week, though the snow was deep and the temperature frigid, the students are looking ready for spring with fresh haircuts!

And there is no question who the students in Ms. Doyle’s class will be rooting for….. GO PATS!

The FLLAC ASD/DD program has scheduled their Spring Music & Art Extravaganza for Wednesday, April 12, 2017 @ 12:00 pm.  They will be performing at the Ayer Shirley High School Auditorium. Save the date… you will love every minute of it!
